Kalavrita Ski Center, Peloponnese
The Kalavrita Ski Center, which began its operation in 1988, is located on the north side of the Chelmos Mountain, to the position of Xerokampos, at an altitude of 1700m. to 2340m. It is 203km from Athens and only 15km from Kalavrita.
It has 12 slopes with a total length of 20km and 7 lifts with portability of 5000 people per hour. There are very easy slopes, but very difficult too (the black), so the demands of all skiers are covered.
Also, in the Ski Center, you can enjoy the park for snowboard, the paths cross country ski, to paragliding, the routes for snowmobiles and many other events during the winter.
Alternatively, in the area of the ski center, the following are showing great interest:
• a visit to the new telescope Aristarchos,

At 1850 meters of the Ski Center there is a cafe, a restaurant, a ski shop and a clinic. The Chelmos landscapes are majestic and the view to the Corinthian gulf is unique.
